Aviation Club

We had a great trip today to the Aviation museum of NH. Big thanks Jessica, Wendell and Don for a great tour. The kids got to see how an engine works, the first biplane built in NH, what connects NH to the Civil War and even saw their airport model installed as an exhibit. They got to try their hand at the simulators and see the exhibit of Sr. Theresa whom they learned about earlier this year. All and all a great trip!
Next month we'll be hosting a panel on aviation related careers with a professional pilot, airport manager and flight surgeon from the national guard. You are all welcome to attend 4/19 @3pm.

History of Flight
The AVIATION CLUB members were introduced to Leonardo da Vinci, Wilbur Wright, Amelia Earhart, Chuck Yeager, Sr. Teresa of the WASP Corp, and  Charles Lindbergh in a panel discussion hosted by "Star Furey".  We were so excited to realize that "Charles Lindbergh" was played by National Aerobatic Champion, 5 years in a row, Rob Holland! Watch his video "What I See"   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uRz6JpPrESE

A huge thanks to the wonderful folks at the Aviation Museum, the sisters of the Concord Carmelite Convent and Rob Holland.   All the students got to meet and get autographs from our famous visitors (including famous airshow performer, Rob Holland), received memberships from the Aviation Museum of NH, and Nicholas L.'s first flight with young Eagles was recognized!

As always, many thanks to Mrs. Gale Furey for making this all possible!
