A Little Seed Poem
Enjoy the Summer months working in your garden!

A little seed for me to sow
A little soil to make it grow
A little hole, a little pat,
A little wish and that is that
A little sun, a little shower,   A little while and then a Flower





 



Things to Practice at home to get ready for Kindergarten
  • Writing First and last Name.
  • Counting and printing number 1-20.
  • Sounding out small words. 
  • Fine Motor Skills; holding a pencil, cutting with scissors.
  • Address and Phone number these are always a great thing to know!




Fun Summer Trips
  • Take  a bike ride.
  • Have picnic in your living room.
  • Camp out in your backyard.
  • Head to the Beach and catch some waves.
  • Take a hike and see what kind of cool birds you find.

Vacation Jars
What you will need: 
1 Mason Jar
Vacation Items
Kids always seem to collect things on vacation.  This project gives those collections a special place to stay.  Fill the jar with all their special things and label it with the date and place of the vacation.  Great way to save memories!!! 


Summer Snowballs
What you will need:
2 Boxes of Cornstarch, 1 Can of Shaving Cream.
Mix together and form into "Snowballs"
Super Fun!
