Welcome New First Graders!

August 30th, 2016

 Dear 1st Grade Families,

Welcome and thank you for sharing your child with me! They are a wonderful group of students, and I am really looking forward to working with  each of them this year. We are off to a great start and it’s going to be a fabulous year in 1S!!  This week and next, our class is getting to know our  school and classroom routines, reviewing kindergarten skills in math and language arts, and beginning our 1st grade lessons in religion and  science.  Specials (Art, Computer, PE, Music, Spanish and Library) begin next week. Students will need to wear sneakers and a PE uniform and bring  a water bottle for PE class next Thursday, September 8th. Our School Mass will be Monday mornings at 9:00 beginning September 12th (church  uniform).

I look forward to seeing you all at our Open House on September 15th when we will go over in detail all the information about our classroom!  If you  have any questions, please email me

 Thank you,

 Kathleen Smith
