The Month of  October in KB

Dear Families,

We have been off to a great start in our Kindergarten classroom!  The month of October is going to be filled with all kinds of fun and exciting learning activities.  We will be learning about Bats, Pumpkins, Halloween, Fire Safety and the Human Body.

Our Nancy Larson Science program has some fun filled activities for us to complete this month. Which include our very own Skeleton and Human Body book. We will be creating our very own skeletons.... Bones, bones and more bones!

We  also will be introducing our second Chicken Soup for Rice poem.  Ask your child to recite the one we learned in September they are great at it!  We finished our time with Horton our  September classroom pet.  The children all seemed to really enjoy their time with Horton.  Our new classroom pet will be introduced on October 2nd be sure to ask your child who it is!

As always if you should have any questions please feel free to email me at ddetone@scsnh.com

Here is to a Boo-tiful month!
